CAMPING IN SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS during this time?
OK SO My question is anyone knows ANY PLACES in San Antonio or out side of San Antonio, where you CAMP STORE CAN STILL? Yes, I know its November, but .. THIS IS THE ONLY TIME YOU CAN GO BY EXCESS OF WORK:) WE NEED A VACATION .. And no .. NO .. HOTELS WE Out Door PEOPLE! THANKS
The only place I know where to camp you can tent in San Antonio is the KOA in Gembler Road. Outside San Antonio, has several options, most of which are state parks. Guadalupe River State Park is the closest to San Antonio, but it is 30 miles north of downtown San Antonio. There are some camps located in New Braunfels, but again, not in or near all of San Antonio. Google "tent of San Antonio" and get quite a few hits. November is actually a pretty good time to camp, it is not so hot, but keep an eye on time anyway. The rains have been quite stunning surroundings San Antonio recently. Good luck!
