Camping in Quebec?
My gf and I are looking for a place to go camping for 3 days. We already have a tent, a portable table, chairs, stove, and surveys of fishing (with fishing permits). We do not have a boat, so we're looking for a place where we can either fish from the coast or a river. A place for walking would be good too. The possibility of renting a seedoo also be very sweet. Someone has already asked in yahoo answers on this subject. Me wonder if I can get more answers from yall. So far I hear the following regions are really good: – Mont Orford – Saint Sauveur – Mont Tremblant – Oka – Rawdon Please specify as camping. Thanks for your tips and advice!
One of the best place to camp is the Parc de la Mauricie, a provincial park a few hours northeast of Montreal. You can rent a canoe directly from the services of the park and pitch your tent in one of the wild campsites accessible only by canoe.
